Casette di stoffa - fabric houses

Ciao, ecco due casette di stoffa che ho cucito recentemente. Ho fatto un esperimento per il compleanno di Cristina, scopiazzando sfacciatamente da queste casette trovate su pinterest ^__^
Il risultato mi piace, però dovrei aggiungere magari un camino e qualche altro dettaglio colorato. Ho così tante stoffine colorate che attendono di diventare casette...ne ho già tagliate una bella quantità e aspettano solo di essere assemblate e imbottite!

I like the result, but I still have to add some more details... I have so many coloured fabrics that are just waiting to become little houses. I have already cut a bunch of rectangles that are ready to be sewn together and stuffed!

Ecco un'altra borsetta double face come quella cucita l'estate scorsa. Ho seguito sempre lo stesso modello di Projects by Jane. L'ho comprato su Etsy qui.
Stavolta sui toni del rosa, la stoffa interna è proprio bellissima secondo me!!

Tazza con gatti - Mug with cats

Ciao! Non sapendo ormai più cosa regalare alla mia amica Sonia, ho deciso di darmi alla porcellana e di disegnare una tazza con quattro bei gattoni.
Hi, not knowing what to give to my friend Sonia for her birthday, I decided to make friends with porcelain and I painted a mug with four fat cats.
Questo è il primo gattone tutto nero con una bella lisca di pesce davanti.
This is the first all black fat cat with a blue fish bone at its feet.
Questo è Tigro, il secondo gattone a strisce blu.
This is Tigger, the second fat cat with blue stripes.
Questa è il terzo gattone o meglio gattona, con macchie blu e topino.
This is the third fat cat or I'd better say pussy cat, with blue spots and a little mouse.
Questo è il quarto gattone, il dormiente sognante gattone su tappeto blu.
This is the fourth fat cat, the sleeping dreaming fat cat on blue rug.
Ho usato questi pennarelli da porcellana che ho trovato al brico. Li ho scelti perché non serviva cuocere la tazza dopo averla dipinta. C'è scritto sul pennarello che dopo tre giorni di asciugatura si possono lavare in lavastoviglie. Io ho fatto la prova e dopo tre giorni se li strofinate a mano con la parte ruvida della spugna per i piatti il disegno si cancella. Dovete lavare l'esterno gentilmente e il disegno si mantiene.
È comodo disegnare con questi pennarelli perché potete cancellare e ritoccare il disegno tante volte finché non vi piace, basta strofinare forte con un cotton-fioc sulla parte di disegno da cancellare e poi ridisegnare.
I used these porcelain painters I found at the brico store. I chose them because you don't need to cook the mug after painting. They say you must leave the mug for three days to allow the painting to dry completely and after that you can put the mug inside the dishwasher. I tested the resistence and after three days, if you brush the mug with the rough part of the dishwashing sponge, the painting goes away. You have to wash it gently and the painting remains.
Moreover you can erase and remake the painting so many times until you are satisfied with it. All you have to do is to strongly brush a cotton earspoon on the mistake and then repaint it.

Another bunny - Un'altra coniglietta

Ecco un'altra coniglietta di pannolenci, stavolta marroncina. Il modello è sempre lo stesso, cambia solo il colore e la codina a pallina invece che a ciuffetto. Stavolta un bel book fotografico :)
Here is another felt bunny, this time a little brown bunny. The pattern is always the same, the only thing that changes, apart from the colour, is the shape of the tail: this time a "ball" tail instead of a "bushy" tail. A complete photographic book :)

Vischio ritardatario

Nell'ultimo post vi avevo promesso che vi avrei mostrato il secondo regalo che mi ha fatto Cristina per Natale e con la scusa di fare la foto nella light-box è passato un mese!! Che vergogna! Anche perché tra poco è Pasqua praticamente...
Comunque eccolo qui il mio bel rametto di vischio di pannolenci, completo di bacche bianche e gancetto per appenderlo al muro. Tenetelo buono per Natale prossimo ormai, tanto sapete che non è mai troppo presto per pensare ai lavoretti di Natale ché poi tra una cosa e l'altra ci si trova la vigilia con gli occhi rossi e le dita intorpidite.
Secondo me con un rametto di vischio così farete un figurone, a me è piaciuto un sacco!
In my last post I promised I would have shown you the second gift that Cristina made for me last Christmas. And since I wanted to take the picture in the light-box it's almost Easter, what a shame!!
Anyway here is my green felt mistletoe with its white berries. I hung it above the armchair in my kitchen, it's always the right time for a kiss ;)
You can think about making it as a present or Christmas decoration for 2013. It's never too late to start working on Christmas crafts because you know that time runs away and you'll find yourself on Christmas Eve with red eyes and felt everywhere.
I believe that this gift would be really appreciated, I loved it so much!

Alberello di pannolenci di Cristina

Ecco l'alberello di pannolenci che mi ha regalato Cristina per Natale. È fatto di un singolo strato di feltro verde a cui sono appese delle palline di pannolenci tutte colorate e con perline. Al momento è appeso dietro la porta d'ingresso, così me lo guardo un sacco di volte.
Cristina mi ha regalato anche un'altra cosina che vi mostro la prossima volta, sempre in tema con le feste natalizie.
Here is the felt tree that Cristina gave to me as a Christmas present. It's a single layer of green felt with a bunch of felt coloured balls hanging, all decorated with beads. Now it's hung on my entrance door, so I can take a lot of looks at it.
Cristina gave me another felt ornament related to these winter holidays, but you'll see it in the next post.

Sono dei bigliettini natalizi che ho disegnato a pennarello in modo che loro li possano colorare e regalare alle zie e ai nonni. Angioletti, omini di neve, omini di pan pepato, babbi natale, alberi di natale...
Hi, these little cards are one of the little surprises I put in the advent calendar I made for my niece and nephew.
Some little christmas cards I drew using a felt tip pen so that they can colour them and give them to aunts and grandparents for Christmas. Little angels, santas, snowmen, gingerbread men, christmas trees...
Ho preparato due pdf con dei disegni di angioletti e babbi natale per chi li volesse stampare e colorare e usare come bigliettini di auguri. Basta che clicchiate sui disegni qui sotto oppure andiate sulla pagina di Download.

Calendario avvento 2012 - Advent calendar 2012

Ciao! Ecco il calendario dell'avvento che ho fatto per i miei nipotini quest'anno. Essendo i bambini due ho concentrato due calendari in uno, per cui per ogni giorno ci sono due sacchettini con sorpresine separate.
Hi! Here is the advent calendar I made for my niece and nephew this year. I needed to concentrate two advent calendars in one because there are two children of course, so for every day there are two little bags with different surprises inside.
Cosa vi serve:
stoffe natalizie, spago e nastri, un pezzo di corda, cartoncino e ovviamente cioccolato e sorpresine varie.
Primo passo: armarsi di pazienza e di stoffine natalizie e cucire 24 x 2 = 48 sacchettini di circa 5 x 12 cm. Qui sopra ne vedete solo una piccola parte...
What you need:
christmas fabric, twine, a piece of rope, cardboard and of course chocolate and little presents.
First of all: take a bunch of patience and Christmas fabric and sew 24 x 2 = 48 little bags (approximately 5 x 12 cm). The picture above shows just a little part of the heap of bags :)

Poi riempite i sacchettini con i vostri regalini e chiudeteli con un pezzetto di spago, tenendone un capo abbastanza lungo. Io ho alternato ovetti e barrette kinder con pupazzetti ikea, calzini, pastelli etc.
Per differenziare i sacchettini ho usato su ognuno un pezzo di nastro rosso per Claudia e blu per Pietro.
Ogni sacchettino va poi legato al pezzo di corda usando il capo lungo dello spago con cui li avete chiusi. in questo caso li ho legati a coppie vicine. Per ogni coppia ho legato anche un' etichetta di cartoncino col numero del giorno corrispondente.
Then put all your little surprises inside the bags and close them with a piece of twine, leaving one end quite long. I chose Kinder chocolate and little Ikea softies, socks, pencils etc...
To make the bags different I used for each bag a piece of ribbon: red for Claudia and blue for Pietro.
Then hang every bag to the piece of rope using the piece of twine with which you closed the bags. In my case I hung the bags in couples. For each couple of bags I also tied a piece of cardboard with the number of the corresponding day.

Quindi questo è il mio calendario dell'avvento 2012 (la foto fa schifo, ma non fateci caso). 48 piccoli sacchettini colorati appesi a una corda. I bambini sono rimasti contenti e anche io :)
