Calamity Dog - Calamita da frigo

Ecco uno dei
regalini del calendario dell'Avvento per Sonia: è un cane che funge da
calamita da frigo (le forbici simulano il frigo ^__^).
In realtà avrei voluto farle una calamita di legno con un magnete attaccato sul retro, in classico stile calamita da frigo insomma. Beh le calamite che vendevano dal ferramenta sono talmente potenti che più di una volta ho rischiato di lasciarsi due dita e poi c'era il rischio concreto che la colla non fosse altrettanto potente e che il pezzo di legno ti rimanesse in mano e il magnete attaccato al frigo.
Quindi ho optato per una soluzione salvadita e ho inserito il magnete tra due strati di feltro abbastanza spesso.
A me piace tanto, assomiglia alla mia cagnetta Emma, un beagle ;)
Here is one of the little presents I put inside the Advent Calendar I made for Sonia: it's a dog that works as fridge magnet (the scissors simulate the fridge ^__^).
To be honest I wanted to use wood instead of felt and just glue the magnet to the back of the piece of wood. The magnets I found at the ironmonger's are so powerful that more than once my fingers found themselves in serious danger; and then the glue might not be as powerful as the magnet, causing the magnet to be firmly on the fridge and the piece of wood to lay in your hand.
Therefore I chose a finger-saving solution and put the magnet between two layers of thick felt.
I like it so much, it looks like my doggie Emma, a beagle ;)
